I’m sure you will agree, fever has become a common complication these days.
In our current era, the medicines used for this complication are acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Advil) which lower your temperatures to much extent.

1 cup red port wine
1 tablespoon honey

Heat wine to 120°F (do not boil).

Taking a bath in lukewarm water is also a good home remedies for fever.
If you are suffering from fever and the body temperature is high enough, then it might be better to take a bath in lukewarm water.
It is also considered one of the best home remedies for fever, especially if you need to avoid the alcohol.
You should try your best to make your bath last for about 20 to 30 minutes.
Also try to not use a harsh or chemical containing soap that can lead you to suffer from both cough and fever.
In other words, take a plain bath and wrap yourself in a soft and clean towel or bath robe later on.
You might even want that glass of wine after your bath, to help you relax!
