2 lg. oranges (juice only)
1 lemon (juice only)
2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 cup canned milk and one cup of water may be used in place of fresh milk.
It gives a delicious flavor.
Heat milk and sugar to boiling, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Cool and freeze.
Whip mixture in blender or in bowl with beater.
Add juice and freeze.
What makes sherbet different from ice cream? Sherbet just uses milk… while ice cream often uses milk, cream, and sometimes eggs. Juice is used as the flavoring agent for sherbet.
