1/4 tsp cayenne
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ghee
1 tsp cumin seed
1 pint yogurt
2 cardamom pods (seeds)
2 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed to a pulp
STEP BY STEP:
Place the yogurt in a mixing bowl, and whip lightly. Fry the cumin seed and cardamom in the ghee.
As soon as they are getting along nicely, add the salt and cayenne.
Quickly add the bananas and throw the yoghurt into the pot also. Stir all vigorously and quickly. Taste.
Then decide whether to serve hot or cold. Hot? Continue to stir and cook until heated through. Cold? Remove at once and chill.
