1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 c. lukewarm water
1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. sifted flour
STEP BY STEP:
Sprinkle yeast over warm water; dissolve.
Pour boiling water over butter in blender, cover and process.
Add sugar, salt and egg.
Add yeast mixture.
Measure flour in bowl.
Add liquid from blender and stir in flour.
Cover and refrigerate overnight or 2 hours.
Shape into desired shape start to rise in pan with melted butter.
Let rise 2-3 hours and bake at 400 degrees until brown.
