1/2 lb. butter (1 c.)
1/2 lb. solid vegetable shortening (1 c.)
2 2/3 c. sugar
3 1/2 c. flour
6 to 8 tbsp. cream (or Milnot)
1 tbsp. vanilla
STEP BY STEP:
Cream together butter, shortening and sugar.
Sift flour twice and add alternately with cream.
Bake in angel food cake pan or in bundt pan (will not hold it all, so use one 2-pound loaf pan).
Bake at 275 degrees for 2 hours or longer.
