INGREDIENTS:
1 c. shredded natural Swiss cheese (4 oz.)
1 c. chopped cooked ham
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
3 eggs
1 c. hot cooked white quick grits
1 tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. cayenne
STEP BY STEP:
Sprinkle cheese, ham, and onion over bottom of pie shell.
Beat together remaining ingredients; pour into pie shell.
Bake in preheated moderate oven (375) 45-50 minutes or until knife inserted into center comes out clean.
Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
